Isle of Man-based gambling software company, Microgaming, has welcomed yet another studio to its content aggregation platform, having signed an exclusive agreement with Argentinian firm, Neko Games.
The up-and-coming developer that specializes in “creating games with a Latin American twist,” will help Microgaming diversify its award-winning portfolio for its customers across the globe.
Latin American twist:
Inspired by the traditional ShowBall bingo game, the Buenos Aires-headquartered studio’s very first title, Super ShowBall, is a Brazilian-style 90-ball video bingo game. The mobile-friendly game packs a punch, with medium-to-high volatility action and a mystery prize featuring a 4,000x jackpot prize!
The title is available exclusively with Microgaming from May 26 and joins a plethora of new games that are consistently added to the platform by the supplier’s growing line-up of independent studios and content partners.
LATAM appeal:
Commenting on the new partnership, Commercial Director for Microgaming, Leon Thomas, said in an official press release…
Video bingo games are particularly popular in LATAM, and the team at Neko Games have done a tremendous job with their debut title, Super ShowBall. We are pleased to welcome the studio to our content aggregation platform and look forward to working with them on further diversifying our portfolio for Microgaming customers worldwide.
Being part of Microgaming’s global network of creative studios provides Neko, which is also associated with UK venture capital firm, Velo Partners, with worldwide game distribution capabilities.
Remake of a classic:
Included in its handful of releases this month, the gambling software company recently introduced us to its newly updated version of Immortal Romance. It’s been nearly a decade since the timeless classic was originally released and it is still considered one of the finest online slots ever made. The vampire-themed title has been remastered to a new HTML5 format that supports a host of performance and feature upgrades, so be sure to check it out!
Mega jackpots:
In other exciting news, Microgaming’s recently launched progressive game, Absolootly Mad: Mega Moolah!, developed exclusively by Triple Edge Studios, has awarded two Mega jackpots within a month of its launch, one on May 24 for €6,598,989.96 and the other for €2,988,723.33 on May 27. The industry-leading network has paid out over €1.1 billion to date.
